LG's PRADA Phone Rivals Apple iPhone

Wireless Tech - LG's PRADA Phone Rivals Apple iPhone

Ok, I don't really care whether one is better than the other... although I don't see, yet, where the LG is capable of accessing regular web pages with a full feature browser. So what's my problem....

Why isn't the USA getting the phone at launch too? I think I know the answer, and the answer is because we've been lagging in phone technology for DECADES thanks to the FCC (saw a program on PBS about it, so it must be true). And so during that time, all these other countries have been using their cell phones, developing even better technology etc. while we, the USA, have remained in the dark ages.

What pisses me off even more is that even when Apple produces the iPhone, it'll only be initially produced for a single carrier. So I sure hope Sprint has taken notice and is trying to do something about it. :)

NEway, it's just sad that our market isn't attractive enough to warrant immediate shipment of new technology for our use. All these tech companies aren't located in the US. Not a single TV is American anymore. Where's our place in the global market aside from buying other countries' products? How long can we afford to do so? How about this... Mexico :: USA, USA :: Korea/Japan. Is that our future? Surely not, but it's not hard to imagine right now.
